Lochnell Primary School and Early Years is a non-denominational learning environment located on the north east edge of Benderloch village. Situated alongside the A828, which runs from South Ballachulish to Connel, Lochnell is a rural school with Oban being the nearest town – just over 7 miles away.
At Lochnell, we pride ourselves on our positive ethos, ‘can do’ attitude and eagerness to explore and embrace opportunities. Staff and learners have worked to embed the principles of being ‘ready, respectful and safe’ in all aspects of our school day and connect these to the Rights of the Child. Lochnell is dedicated to ensuring learners are at the centre of everything we do, and each improvement is made with this at the forefront of the process.
